The Castel XK 160 HD Artic Ride on Lawnmower. Grass clippings are now a thing of the past with Castelgarden’s innovative mulching mower. The advanced deck design allows the clippings to be kept within the cutter deck where they are cut and recut by the specially designed blades. The fine clippings are then discharged into the ground where they quickly decompose returning vital nutrients promoting a healthy looking lawn. No more piles of rotting grass when you use a Castelgarden mulching mower plus mowing time is actually reduced when compared to more conventional methods of cut and collect, leaving you more time to enjoy your garden.

The XM160 Atric mulching mower is vastly different in looks compared to normal ride-ons. With its outfront cutter deck making it particularly useful when mowing under shrubs or bushes and the excellent forward vision allows for very precise cutting. This model has an 105cm 42" combi cutter deck, a powerful reliable Briggs & Stratton 15.5HP engine. A variable speed hydrostatic transmission unit is fitted. Articulated in the middle make this model highly manoeuvrable.

{Mulching}

Mulching grass is a great feature as it saves so much time and it can be more than 30% quicker as there is no stopping work to drive to the tip to empty clippings so this also results in a significant fuel saving. Mulching the grass allows the clippings to be recycled, improving the soil as they decompose forming a natural fertiliser high in potash and nitrogen. The combi cutter has a plate at the rear that can be removed to enable longer and rougher grass to be mow.
