This superb New 2008 model PPT-265ES pole pruner from the Echo manufacturer has an easily adjusted telescopic shaft. Unextended, it is 2.74 metres (9 feet) in length. Fully extended, the length is 3.83 metres (12 feet). The machine has a 30cm (12 inches) chainsaw cutter head (which is removable and can be replaced with an articulating hedge trimmer attachment which is available as an optional extra).

The PPT-265 Power Pruner features a 25.4cc Power Boost Vortex engine for plenty of cutting power, i-30 technology to reduce starting effort by 30%, a 146" shaft (when extended)for long reach cutting ability, a side-access chain tensioning system for easier, safer chain tightening, a durable gear case cover for increased longevity, an adjustable, automatic oilier system to keep chain properly lubricated, an easy to grasp ergonomic handle with rubber over-mold for added comfort and improved handling, and a branch extractor for easy removal of troublesome branches.
