And with a hydrostatic drive the HME range ensures smooth operation and a quality cut at any speed, as the blade speed is independent of forward drive speed. The larger deck of the HF2417 also features a pneumatic blade engagement control and saftey feature that allows you to cut in reverse by pressing a button on the dash also anti-scalp wheels allowing the cutter deck to float over uneven ground, protecting the lawn. This enhanced model has an LED diagnostic dashboard featuring automatically operated headlights.
