The Ryetec Eco 85 Electric Logsplitter. Supplied with 3 extra wedge accessories, the new Ryetec Eco 85 Log Splitter combines a robust steel frame and base for maximum stability and durability with a powerful 7 ton splitting force and a class leading maximum splitting length of 1.25m.It is supplied complete with three wedges, a quick wedge (very wide 'V' to open the logs wider without having to travel the axe all the way down the log), a cross wedge, for splitting into fours and also a wedge extension which allows the machine to split larger logs on the lower platform settings, making it easier for the operator.
The Eco 85 has a large electric motor which runs continuously and is shielded for weather protection in outdoor use. The splitting action is controlled by two sturdy levers which also act as grips for the logs. Pushing down on both levers operates the axe which automatically returns to the start position when the levers are released. An adjustable splitting table allows logs of up to 1.25 metre in length to be split. It has twin rear wheels for ease of movement.
