Apache Petrol Scarifier VT35

The Apache scarifier has pressed steel deck with a working width of 16" and is fitted with a 3.5hp Briggs & Stratton engine. Fifteen double ended carbon steel blades rotating at 3600rpm are adjustable to a maximum depth of 3/4". The depth of cut is controlled by a screw adjuster with the engagement lever conveniently located on the handles. The machine rolls easy on large diameter 7 3/4" wheels fitted with double ball bearings & the handles fold for easy storage. For collecting thatch a 40 L bag is supplied and there is a sprung deflector for when the bag is not in use.

This heavy duty scarifier is suitable for larger domestic applications, hotels, institutions etc. It features a 5.5hp Briggs & Stratton OHV Intek engine and has a 60cm/24" working width. The blade system consists of 3 banks of 14 hardened steel flail blades which are driven via a clutched v-belt. The height may be changed by an infinitely variable screw adjuster to suit conditions. The body is made of heavy gauge steel to ensure years of continuous use. An essential machine for keeping large lawns healthy! Weight 55 kg.
