The blades are contra rotating and direct the grass cuttings through the wide rear discharge chute into the collector. A twin bladed deck gives a superior finish than a tractor with a single blade, a good range of cutting heights 25mm to 80mm, 7 positions and easy to adjust. This model is powered by a Emak K 1250 AVD 413cc Key Start 4 stroke engine. The grass clippings are thrown into the very large 250 litre rear mounted grass box. The collector is emptied from the drivers seat, simply pull the collector lever to tip out the grass. Great manoeuvrability is a standard feature, with very light steering and a tight turning circle the EF86R/12.5KM is very easy to steer around objects such as trees and flower boarders. This model is fitted with a towbar kit, it can be then used for pulling a trailer or maybe a roller etc, there are a wide range of accessories available to buy. They can be configured for grass cutting collection using the 250-litre grass catcher, for discharging from the rear, or for the mulching function. Mulching

Mulching grass is a great feature as it saves so much time and can be more than 30% quicker as there is no stopping work to drive to the tip to empty clippings, which also results in a significant fuel saving. Mulching the grass allows the clippings to be recycled, improving the soil as they decompose forming a natural fertiliser high in potash and nitrogen. You will notice a marked improvement in your grass as this fertiliser takes effect over the course of the cutting season. You may well ask “Will I see the mulched grass?” and the answer is “No!” Mulched clippings are blown down into the turf and are not noticeable provided the grass is cut regularly and not on the lowest setting.
